"I met Rodney Kelly in the big hunting show in Pennsylvania.
"My buddy and I booked a hunt with Kansas Big Buck Outfitters to bow hunt on Nov 3-8, 2008. The first day, I saw a monster buck--around a 190 class--with other buck around 140 class, running does. The second day, the only thing I saw was about 30 cows around me all day. I came into camp that night and told Rodney, the owner of Kansas Big Buck Outfitters, 'I don't know about going back in there because of the cows.' Rodney told me to go back. 'The cows will not be there every day. There are very big bucks there,' he said.
"My buddy shot a good buck that afternoon. He and Rodney were going back to look for it the next morning. Well, the next morning Rodney let me off. I walked in to the stand. About one hour went by. I looked up--here come a monster buck right at me. He comes around 15 yards from me. I pulled back and shot. I knew I hit him. I called Rodney and told him, 'I just shot a monster.' He said to stay in the stand till he comes in. About 30 minutes later, here Rodney comes with my hunting buddy on a 6+6 mule. We walk about 100 yards, and there lay a buck of a lifetime--main frame 12 pt score 173.

My first Kansas Hunt:
"I met Rodney Kelly at the Perry, Georgia, hunting show.
"I came to the rifle hunt on Dec 3, 2008. I sat in the enclosed, heated stand for one hour on opening day and shot the buck of a lifetime. He is a massive 8 that net scored 158%. My biggest buck to date. He was 5-1/2 yrs old and weighed in·at a whopping 272 lb. Rodney and his dad, Joe Kelly, put in the time and the effort that other outfitters overlook. I would recommend Kansas Big Buck Outfitters to anyone wanting a hunt of a lifetime in Kansas!!!
